LEARN ABOUT OUR MUSIC PROGRAM
At YPAC, we offer both in person and online private music lessons for voice, piano, drums, guitar, electric bass and ukulele. Lessons are 30 minutes once a week year round, with two performance opportunities each year for students to show their progress, practice stage presence, and learn how to polish material for performance.

Private Music Lesson Class Types:
Private Lessons are available for ANYONE (child or adult) ages 4 and up
Each 30 minute lesson meets once per week
All private lessons students have the opportunity to perform in our Winter and Spring Music Recitals
Private lessons are $150/month

We don't just teach out of learning books. At YPAC our instructors are trained to customize their curriculum to each student's interests and needs. Learning an instrument should be fun and at YPAC we make sure it is.

GROUP MUSIC CLASSES
Meet fellow musicians by joining one of our group music classes! Students have the opportunity to join a band or our music production class based on their age/level.
Rock & Grow Jammers
Ages 5-10
Rock & Grow Jammers is a performing group for students who are currently learning to play the guitar, bass, piano, drums, or sing and looking for the experience of performing in a band. This group class will introduce Rockers to collaborating with other musicians and how to form a cohesive ensemble. A variety of rock genres will be covered to cultivate well rounded musicians. Ages 5-10. And here at YPAC they get so much more! It's different here. More than just a great performing arts center we are Kendall County's leading child development center partnering with you to invest in your child's personal growth and age appropriate development. In taking this class they will build confidence, realize self worth, and grow as leaders.
THIS CLASS IS A PERFORMING GROUP
Rock & Grow Academy
Ages 10 - 13 Years Old
Rock & Grow Academy is a performing group for students who are currently learning to play the guitar, bass, piano, drums, or sing and looking for the experience of performing in a band. This group class will introduce Rockers to collaborating with other musicians and how to form a cohesive ensemble. A variety of rock genres will be covered to cultivate well rounded musicians. Ages 10-18. And here at YPAC they get so much more! It's different here. THIS CLASS IS A PERFORMING GROUP
Show Choir
Ages 5 - 12 Years Old
Do you love to sing? Come join our Showchoir for kids ages 5-12! We will sing together and learn basic accompanying movements. Students will practice the basics of healthy singing and blending within the group while adding fun movements.
Music Production
Ages 10 - 18 Years Old
This engaging class is tailored to discover the exciting world of music production. Delve into the basics of producing, recording, and mixing to create your own musical masterpieces. Learn how to plan projects, arrange songs, oversee recording sessions, edit tracks, and mix music like a pro. Gain confidence in providing creative input, collaborating with peers, and honing technical skills to bring your musical ideas to life. Explore the role of a music producer in the industry and unleash your creativity in a fun and educational studio environment. This class is a non recital class.
Ages 10-18
By being involved with this performing group, students will be introduced to the world of a cappella performances and competitions. They will learn original arrangements consisting of some of their favorite pop songs and develop a cappella choreography one would see at national a cappella competitions. With experienced coaches who are knowledgeable about the world of competitive a cappella, YPACappella is planning to compete in the future, so sign up now to be a part of this exciting group!
